SINGAPORE – A new supplementary bus service 53M will start running along the areas between Hougang Avenue 1 and Serangoon Central this Sunday.
It will ply services areas including Lorong Ah Soo, Upper Paya Lebar Road, Serangoon Central and Upper Serangoon Road, said SBS Transit in a release.
The service will provide “convenient access” for commuters to schools such as Paya Lebar Girls’ School and Yuying Secondary School.
Commuters will have better access to amenities including the market and food centre along Hougang Avenue 1 and the Aljunied Community Club.
The bus service will operate from 6am to 11pm daily.
